The only reason I'm selling mine is because it doesn't fit with my recently purchased AEM CAI . It does work , I would just rather have my CAI , and no I don't sell them . I know at least 4-5 people that swear by them .

Those links rock. They worked just as they say links should work. They actually went to another page. Really. I'm sold! They were worth every penny. I swear by those links!

AND They work as well as the Tornado Fuel Saver!

Listen...every fucking auto store you walk in , you see the tornado , and in every import and performance store as well . How come Hot Rod and Super Street magazines rate it as one of the best automotive products made . I had one in my RL , my friend has one in his maxima , other friend in a I30 and one in a Dodge pick up . Everyone is satisfied with it so why are all you fucks so negative if you never had one .

The reason they're there... marketing and revenue. Sure you've seen some kick ass infomercials that sell complete shit.

I'll buy one and get the bastard dyno'd. I keep all of my gas receipts so I'll post my findings on fuel savings. If there's an increase in either, I'll keep it in.

You still have one lying around?

I can't believe someone's trying to sell this

Excerpt of Consumer Reports testing of Tornado:

"Put a Tornado under your hood!" exhorts the manufacturer of a $70 device that claims to improve your vehicle's power and mileage. The Tornado, a stainless-steel disc with stationary blades, fits inside the air-filter housing or air-intake hose. "Its air-flow dynamics create a swirling, fast-burn effect" and allows for more complete combustion, the ads say.

We tested the Tornado on a 1998 Volkswagen New Beetle and a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup. In our acceleration tests, the Ranger showed no improvement and the Beetle showed slightly worse performance with the Tornado. Fuel economy didn't improve in either vehicle."

Car & Driver also had a similar write up.

Basically it's all marketing and hype. They haven't been proven to work on any new cars. They may have worked on the older cars w/o EFI... but no more.

There was also a guy on the TL board claiming to be the son of the guy who invented the product (turbox777 or something like that). He claims the product works, yet never supplied one independant dyno or any other proof. On top of that, myself, and a few board members offered to do an independant dyno if he would send the Tornado to one of us... and he never answered back. As far I'm concerned.. if the product worked... they would have jumped on that b/c if it showed gains they'd sell a ton of Tornado's between this board and atl.com.

Anyway, just some food for thought. The rest can be found by reading the topics you find in the search results.....

Dudes , I'm not saying that the infomercials are 100% correct , in fact there probably 90% bullshit . They got a guy on there wit a chevy suburban that got 20hp . yeah right...but I am saying it DOES WORK . I still have it lying around and would like to sell it . Besides , every infomercial product stays on TV , this item is hot and you can get one just about anywhere . It's not cause it's garbadge , I can asure you that . It does work whatever any of you says

imo i think that the term "it works" can be used in many different ways. I mean anything can work but to what extent? even a .5 percent increase.. anyone can say it works because it technically does

It's noticable on the throttle response around 1-2500 rpm . Also do your gas calculations and you will see a difference . I'm not saying it's a miricle product , but I do think it's well worth $69.95 new , or in my case $40.00

I talked to more than one people say that the Tornado is the biggest scam in car performance. they promise all these numbers(as far as mileage and performance gains) and couple of my friends said it did very little or nothing(if it did anything it was less than .25 mpg of a gallon my one friend said) cause he got about the same mileage before and after. to me it's a crock of crap.:thumbsdn:
