I have a Cobra Xrs 797 radar detector. I got it brand new about a month ago. I fried my old one trying to do the hardwire mod so I sent it in to Cobra and they sent me a brand new one back. I bought another one while Cobra was checking the other one out. So after they sent me the new one I gave this one to my mom. Turns out she doesn't even use it, it was just sitting in her middle console for a month. I'm positive it works perfectly fine because I had a 5 hour drive last week and I wanted to try it out before I sell it and it saved me a couple times on that trip. I'm asking $100 shipped. Thats a damn good price... I sold my radar detector because of the cable, so im going to buy a wireless one. Heres my question why dont they put a solor panel to get the sun rays to generate the power to operate these things so you dont need a cable or batteries? Makes sence huh? Well if someone goes through with this design and a patent i want 1/3 of profits
