3rd gen TL - APEXi GT-Spec Exhaust ONE OF A KIND!

Link to me going WOT during ALL Cali Meet
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzoF5j30Ok8

Fully custom exhaust. I took two exhaust cans from a Honda S2000 and got custom straight pipe from the 3rd cat all the way back...no resonators. This exhaust pretty loud....but it makes the TL sound VERY aggressive.... If you keep the car around 3000 rpm, get on and off the gas, the car backfires....and during LOW RPM as you're slowing down, the car will "gargle"...yum....

But i'm getting rid of this exahust because i'm getting a new car.....sooo... here's your chance to own an exhaust that one one else has!

Asking $850 + shipping

the cans are in perfect condition...no bends, and only minor scratches

How much was the agains from the exhaust? What size is the piping? (2.5 before the y-pipe? 2.25 after the y-pipe? muffler?) Looks good though!

Saw this car in person and the exhaust sound so sweet! One of the best sound on the TL in SoCal. Good luck with the sale Tommy.

Is this exhaust mandrel-bent? Do you have pictures off the car? How is the low-end power? Does it reduce drivability? Just trying to get the full scoop!

it's not mandrel bent....pictures off the car will come next week. low end power is okay i guess? i can't say i feel anything. It's all top end power because it's a GT exhaust.

What do you mean by reduce drivability? What if i told you you can't drive the car when you put the exhaust on? I just don't understand your question?

With exhausts, you usually lose low end torque and normally when you're just driving normally, you drive in the lower RPMs. He just wants to know if the exhaust makes everyday driving less pleasant when accelerating from a stop, etc.

^^if that's the case then i don't see it changing drivability at all. DEFINITELY more high end power though

Here you go man....the sound doesn't do the exhaust justice. It is a bit on the Rapsy side, but it's SUPER mean sounding like i said. Deep tone if you shift before 3000 RPM (if your auto, i'm sorry =P)....i love down shifting just to hear the VROOM.....exhaust is getting taken off this saturday if anyone is local in socal (riverside area) and would like to come listen to it OR, you can have it installed same day!

bump for a legit seller and a mean exhaust. I was lucky to see/hear/experience the exhaust in person. The exhaust adds a very aggresive tone and much more high end power. get your hands on this exhaust people!

PRICE DROP! PRICED TO SELL!!!!!!!!!!! $625 OBO + $75 SHIPPING.

Anyone out of state that wants it must pay $75 to ship and you'll have to take it to a muffler shop to have the center section (between the 3rd cat and the rear Y-pipe area) welded together because i have to cut it in half in order to ship

If no one else is in line, I'd like to call dibs after you post some pictures of it off the car. Would you be willing to just sell the mufflers/tips or just the tips? I know parting sucks but I love how those fill the "hole".

no parting out. i don't get what any of you want to "see" how it looks off the car. it's just a pipe with some flanges...no dents on the pipe....but anyways, i'll take pics when it comes off i guess

Keep me in the loop. How many people are interested in these and where do I stand?

Is there any way to make them less loud? Sorry, don't know a lot about this stuff. I hear a lot of people mentioning the Aero resonator for the Greddys...

resonators help make the exhaust "less loud" and they're not THAT loud, but its preference.

of course at WOT its "loud" but it won't kill your ears.

last time i talked to tommy he said there are a few interested, just waiting to take them off in the next few days. but wait till he gets on later today to answer your questions lol.

Cool man. Since you've seen these, are they louder than the Greddy Evo2s? Because those just went on sale for $850 shipped!!

^ it'll only attract cop attention if you're being a dumbass and revving the shit out of it every second like any exhaust/intake...other wise it's pretty sweet sounding....whoever buys it will def not be disappointed.

some people are interested, but no takers yet. i'm willing to ship it...but you have to pay for the shipping.

you can make it less loud by putting the silencers on....still sounds nice with it on definitely.

exhaust is coming off in the morning........

Just noticed your price drop! Haha am I first in line?
I've been exploring other options but I love the look on your car.

If I do buy this from you, would you be willing to cut out the section where an Aero resonator would go? Its 14" long. You can ship the spool piece with the rest of the package... it just won't be as bulky.

500 mufflers only + 75 shipping

625 mufflers + pipe + 75 shipping for the whole thing. you will have to take it to a shop to get 2 welds...shouldn't cost more than 50 bucks.

cans are in perfect condition

i had 2 shops do the piping that's why it doesn't match...but who cares, when you look from the back it looks great...plus if you want to, you can just paint the pipe flat black and be about it.
