Regardless, bump this shit up. LOCAL SALE. Really have no desire to ship these. I don't have the boxes, I don't have the packing materials, I don't have the time to do it, and I know no one is going to want to pay the outrageous shipping fee's and paypal fee's.

Shipping really isn't that big of a hassle. Go to an office supply store and buy a box and small roll of bubblewrap, it'll cost you less than $10. Then wrap the lights in bubble wrap, pack the empty space in the box with newspapers or something and take it to the post office. You have several buyers that are interested and I'd bet they're all willing to pay shipping. Headlights aren't a huge item, id bet if you chose the cheapest option (parcel post) with tracking it would more than likely be $20 or less. Just my but I guess when youre my age a $300 sale is pretty high on you're priority list.

$300 would be if I didn't have to sacrifice 2-3 hours of my time that I don't have to drive around finding materials and a box, packaging it, and then waiting in line to ship at the post office during hours that I can't get out of work. If it doesn't fit in a priority box so I can use the Auto shipping machine in the lobby I don't ship, and before anyone brings up the bolt ons I just sold, my brother packaged and dropped those off for shipping. His parts, his time I was just the middle man.

I wasn't trying to be a smartass, I was just trying to help a fellow member out by explaining its really not expensive or too time consuming to ship. I even said there was nothing wrong with selling to locals only. But obviously I shouldnt have said anything in hopes of helping you and the people wanting to buy these because you know what you're doing, you've only had these listed for 2 months.

With that response you may turn away the people that were originally willing to pay shipping!
Don't take suggestions personally....nobody knows your situation and why you can or can't make the effort to pack up and ship. Especially nowadays and with car mods...it's a buyers market, I'm sure you know.

Shipping quote to L.A. area from Central CT is about $75 via FedEx. Basing that of the majority of requests came from SoCal members and the only zip I know other than local ones is 90210 lol. Box is another $12 or so. Packing materials I'd imagine is $10-15. Paypal fee's are another $11 bucks. So far thats $413. I have a very large research paper due next week, along with 3 design projects I have to finish. Each one per average end up taking me close to 10 hours or so. Then come other responsibilities, and at the very very bottom is selling these headlights. The rest I'd give to someone to ship these for me should one of my friends be up to them, but with my luck it will get their broken and turn into a FedEx insurance claim nightmare that I can't deal with right now.

I stated in the post right above his why I'm negligent to ship at this time and clearly one would assume by now that if I wanted to sell them that bad I would of tried to figure something out. I just assumed regardless of how bad people want to buy something, they'd respect the fact that shipping is not offered.
