211 DAY OLD CLS6 for sale in Chicago at a dealer. It was my car!
I just want to find a good owner for my "old" new car. I twist the key for the last time Monday morning and drop off the car at Mullers Woodfield Acura. Then I travel to Ohio to pick up my new Anthricite Navi.
My ride was a satin silver CLS6, and there is not one damn thing wrong with it mechanically. Oil and filter changed every 3,500, and the tires were rotated when I got my stock wheels re powder coated with a black pearl chrome finish. The satin silver has no navi, no spoiler, but has summer (never used) and winter mats, the trunk tray, and mud guards at all four corners.
Bodywise, there is a small depression in the sheet metal, top of the trunk, middle, near the rear on the horizontal surface. I pointed it out to the dealer, and they will fix it using dentbusters or the like. Look your new cars over real good guys and gals, I did not do this, it was delivered this way, and I missed it.
For the rest of the body, THERE IS NOT ONE DOOR BANG OR PAINT CHIP, PERIOD, ANYWHERE ON THE CAR, and that is rare!
I retain my original tires and wheels, and they cannot be swaped out until I get back from Ohio next Friday. I imagine you can view the car in Hoffman Estates, but the dealer may "escrow" it until the wheels and tires are swapped out.
Added bonus: Although the odo will say less than 11,725, the tires and wheels you get will come from my new anthricite car, so your wheels and rubber will have less than 500 miles of wear.
Honestly guys and gals, I do not work for the dealer, I work for Illinois Tool Works, and the wheel thing is just a "real world experiment. But, also, this dealer has treated me well.
Change the oil and filter, if you buy it, at 14,000, and she could use a coat of wax, too. Whoever gets it, you are a lucky person.
Watch for a post by the famous Smitty, next saturday or sunday, and you will see why I sold a seven month old CLS6 for another, new CLS6.
I know what you are saying..."he's nuts". No, I'm not!
ALL Documentation (manual, radio card, etc) will be with the car.

Wait for the pics. Yes, fiscally, this is not such a hot idea. But, when you see the combination of the custom coated wheels with the anthricite, I think the picture will become clear. I am NOT worried about the money!
