19x8.5 Volk Progressive ME / pro-drive gc-014i
19x8.5 5x114.3 +22 Volk Progressive ME / pro-drive gc-014i FORGED MONOBLOCK wheels. 18.5lbs EACH!
These are BRAND NEW in box all tags still on, etc. I purchased these at a great price without bothering to check the offset of the wheels to see if they'd actually fit the TL correctly. After taking them home and doing research here on Acurazine, I found that unless I'm willing to lower my car more than an A-spec, rolled fenders, camber kit and perhaps stretched tires, they won't look right to me. From what I've seen, doing all that will give you the "flush" look. I'd love to have that look to be honest, but I just don't have the time to get all of that work done. So with that said, I'm looking to get back close to what I paid for them; $1400. Although these are sold as Pro-Drive GC-014i, these are exactly the same as the Volk Progressive ME and are manufactured by Ray's Engineering. Please feel free to research it yourself.
I'm looking for local pickup only (Los Angeles area). I just don't have the time to ship these, BUT I may consider it if noone local is interested in the next month or so. Please PM me with any specific inquiries. Thanks!
The following pictures aren't mine, but they are EXACTLY the same. Only one of the boxes has been opened and nothing has ever been mounted.

Here's a thread I found recently:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...0&postcount=12
Note that there isn't a camber kit on that TL and the rims are wider. So the 8.5s that I have should sit flush. Like I said, it'll take some work to get it right, but it can be done and it can look great.

I'm confused.... Since when are Volks sold under ProDrive? They're two different companies. So why are you selling them as Progessiv MEs?
EDIT: I know they're made by RAYS, but the fact remains that they are NOT Volk Progessivs so you should not list them for sale as that.

Because it's the same wheel. Rays and Ro_ja manufactured the same wheel under different brands before as well.

I understand this. But whether they're made by the same company or not, the wheels you are selling are not Volk Progressiv MEs.
So your thread title should read, "19x8.5 RAYS Pro-Drive GC-014i."
Either way they're nice wheels, just saying you should list them as what they actually are.
I may be interested in them actually.

I just realized that there were other colors of this wheel. The pics I've posted here are apparently of the British Black, but mine are actually Metal Silver. you can see the difference in colors here.

BTW, Ron A isn't going to allow you to keep those pictures up (I don't think) since they're not yours.
Just take some nice pics of the actual wheels you're selling. It will definitely help your sale.
And based on my research, $1400 is more than what you paid for them. People on Club Lexus stated they purchased these for $1100-$1200 Shipped.
EDIT: The 19x8.5 is 21.8 LBS. Pretty damn light for a 19" wheel.

He said they werent his pictures, people do it all the time, and there is nothing wrong with it as long as there is some statement about not being his own actual pictures, which there is.
Just setting that straight, and looks like you guys are getting the facts straightened out, so I'll bow out of the conversation unless I'm needed again.

I'll happily change whatever the mods ask me to change. And I'll happily find the time to take my own pictures if I'm asked to. There are two reasons I want to sell these locally; 1) I don't want the hassle of shipping them. 2) If someone decides to buy them, they'll see IN PERSON what they're going to get before they hand me ANY money over.
You have all the boxes for them right? So how is shipping them a hassle? Just tape the top of the box and bring them to FedEx. Done.

Well I personally would like to see some pictures. I love the style of this wheel and the specs are right in the area of what I was looking for.

Nice wheels! I saw some on ebay for like 250 each but I guess someone snagged them. Odd how they're more expensive when they're labeled Progressive MEs
