Could you provide better pics of the faces, as well as the hardware on the back of the wheels? BBS wheels have numerous stampings on the faces, which these wheels do not appear to have. Better to be safe than sorry, if you're the buyer. Seems odd that $5,000 wheels are selling for $1,800 with tires.

was going to say the exact same thing, I've sold a few sets of LMs before and they have wheel specs imprinted on the face of the wheels as well as the BBS logo
they also look like they are reverse mounted. Meaning the Face is bolted on the inside of the barrel, rather than the outside. if that makes sense

As well as the wheel specs stamped on the face, which these appear to not have... The BBS stamping on a real BBS is very deep, these seem to be a very shallow stamp.

Forget reverse mount, or even sandwich mount, These are probably one piece wheels.

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-par...r-rare-687314/

here is the thread of who I purchased it from. The reason why I am selling is because I only had them on for car shows, then took them off. They have been sitting in my garage for a while and I just want to get rid of them.

Here is another photo with them on. My car was parked on an incline driveway. But if you zoom in closely you can see it does clear the front big brake calipers.

I'm not trying to be an ass, just helpful to potential buyers. But these aren't BBS wheels.

You said in another thread that you created that the wheels were given to you for free.

One of the many replicas out there? I don't know for sure. Do us all a favor. Take up close pics of the face if the wheels. Also take a pic of the inner barrel so we can see the hardware from the back. This will clarify a lot.

Your not being an ass. Your good in my book. the money had to come from somewhere to pay the buyer right? The money did not have to come out of my pockets, it came from his pockets. There is a difference. I am trying to get more photos for this post. I am out of town so I am no where near the rims. Ill post as I go. I truly am not trying to rip anyone off. I just need space in my garage.

These are two piece mounts, because the tire shop had to replace one of the rivets on the rim. He took apart of the whole rim to inspect it.

Maybe the stamping on 2 piece is different than 3 piece? I don't know the answer to that.

Sir, if you go on google search for BBS LM rims, these generation of rims I had did not have the imprint like that, you are just searching randomly photo. Look at the bigger picture and common images out there for BBS LM rims on google, they only have the BBS logo and "JL" symbol. But thank you for your contributions.

Chris I did some research and from what I can tell. Reps don't have any of the stamps that these do. These are probably anywhere from 5-10 yrs old and the stamp on the inside of the wheel does coincide with BBS wheels. I would like to see some clearer pics of the wheels from the front and the inside with proper lighting when you get a chance.

hmm...it possible that they could be authentic but just know that some companies get very clever with their engraving. I forget which company makes the CE28 Replicas with almost similar engravings as the authentic version. They appear to be similar at a distance but when you get closer, you can see that some letters are very similar. I've seen RAV Racing vs RAYS Racing. Just putting this out there.

Another note. the valve stem isn't aligned between the long spokes. This set is located at the crevice of the spokes, triangular part.
Just something to look out for because replica TE37s and what not have the valve stem at a certain point on the rim.

Also, those photos aren't random photos. Those are authentic LMs.
Paint could possibly be covering the engravings as well.

Thank you for the confirmation. As soon as I get close to a computer, I will upload a REPLICA BBS LM that I found at a tire/rim shop.

I found some replicas in the a rim shop. You can see that the BBS logo is missing from the center and the rivets around the rims are missing the BBS logos as well. Mine are definitely three-piece
