The wheels are RH Evo C2, not Racing Hart, so I have edited your title and post accordingly.

So are they Racing Harts or not? Is RH a knock off company?

I'm not super educated about the difference either. I bought these wheels off a fellow Aziner and he said they were Racing Harts. Either way, the rims are in great shape (minus the curb rash) and at a good price.

Genuine Racing Harts usually go for $1500 and up, while RH goes for a lot less. RH tried to cash in on the Racing Hart name by using the initials and making their wheels look like the real thing but they are not.

I have cleaned up the thread. I offer one more knowledgeable source and this should be the end of the controversy. http://www.wheelspecs.com/RH-Evoluti...EVO_wm529.aspx

Brand Website:

RH Evolution is NOT the same as Racing Hart. Many of the RH Evolution wheels closely resemble Racing Hart wheels in styling and nomenclature. Many wheel distributors and retailers purposefully or inadvertently misrepresent this. Racing Hart wheels are high quality, manufactured in Japan, and prices should reflect this, compared to the RH Evolution wheels.

Racing Hart is a completely different company than RH Evolution. RH Evolution is Dazz Motorsports' own brand, which IIRC most are produced in Taiwan. Racing Hart wheels are manufactured in Japan by a Japan-based company.

Dazz is also the US distributer for Racing Hart. Under the threat of lawsuit, Takechi Project (Racing Hart/Sprint Hart/Lowenhart/Eurohart/etc) accepted a licensing agreement with Dazz, who was previously selling non-Racing Hart wheels that were branded as "Racing Hart" back in the late 90s. The result was that Dazz's wheel line would be called RH Evolution. Dazz and other wheel shops have benefitted from the confusion by giving buyers false confidence; they will make it seem as though RH Evo and Racing Hart are the same company, or that RH Evo are the one-piece models and the Racing Harts are the multi-piece line. Which is bullshit.

Years ago Dazz did the same thing with the German-brand wheel Brabus. They licensed that name and made their own wheels under the name "Brabus Sport"; Brabus has absolutely nothing to do with Brabus Sport.

Anyway, there are exceptions; RH Evo does have a "Pro" line now that is multi-piece, and they have worked with Racing Hart to offer Japan-built models just like Axis has worked with Rays. I believe they have one forged wheel as well. I'm not saying that RH Evos are sh!t, they just aren't on the same level as Racing Hart. They are built by two different companies, in two different factories, in two different countries.

I think it should fit. I looked it up and the LEGEND has the same 5X114.3 bolt pattern and also has the same size lug size at the TL.

Still got these wheels if someone is interested. If you come tomorrow (Fri 9/4), I'll sell them for a good price, otherwise I'm pulling them off the market. I'm located in Socal near Santa Monica.

Come get them today for $500. If they don't sell by today, I'm going to pull them from the market.
