Well its a sad day but I recently purchased a new set of rims and I am putting up for sale my practically new Chromed TL rims. I originally bought these rims for my Acura legend. I sent these wheels in to La Wheel and Tire October 09 for chroming and the hubs bored to 73.1 the whole process took a few months I finally received them around February. I then mounted some very nice BF goodrich Super Sport tires 225/45/17. I have about 20K on the rim/tires now so there is a lot of tread left. I hate to say how much I spent in total on these but at the time I was set on chrome TL rims which obviously are not offered from Acura so I had to go the custom route. All in all I spend more then 1500 dollars on the stock TL Rims, refinishing straitening, chroming, mounting tires. Please keep in mind this was less then 6 months ago!! I know there is no way I will get that back but just know this, the chrome on these rims is very very high quality the company (http://www.lawheel.com/) offers a 5 year warranty on the chrome plating. Please do not low ball me on these, I will consider offers but keep in mind this price is just slightly more then it costs to mount 4 new tires!!! Oh and these rims have absolutely no curb rash! and nothing else worth pointing out defect wise.

I half expected this kind of response from this forum because to everyone here these are stock, but The TL rims are highly sought after on the legend forums. But seriously though about the price I take it you have never purchased new rims before? what about tires?? Here let me do some math for you

I purchased Stock rims ($300) , Chroming process ($600) , Boring hubs ($150), New tires mounted and balanced ($600). Total=$1650 Not to mention shipping I paid. Most cheap used rims you see for sale are curbed, scratched, etc these are flawless rare and don't have a cheap chrome coating that will peel like most of the ones I saw while I was looking. I agree I paid more initially then I intended to but this was a long drawn out process and things added up. $900 is a very good price for these rims for someone actually interested I mean shit your going to pay almost that for new tires!!!

Why did you have the hubs bored? Also what are you close to in NC. I am in east tennessee so might could drive and pick them up.

Like you were bashing on my on OEM Chrome TL wheels...

Please do not provide false information to potential buyers... Acura does sell OEM chrome wheels as an optional premium wheel. The price is pretty steep at $900... you can probably get a new set for a little more... Mine were OEM chrome TL wheels and not refinished chrome plated and i sold them for $600 with 95% thread on the tires with TPMS. You might want to reconsider your price GLWS

Hey I wasent bashing you on your thread all I wanted to see was the Honda logo I was just looking out for everyone becasue in my search for these wheels I found many knockoffs! I'm sorry I wasent aware Acura provided any REAL chrome wheels all I have seen from Acura is chrome "look" wheels with crappy finishes that peel. These wheels I assure you will last longer then any Acura lookalike or real chrome finish i'm sure PLUS my center caps are chrome i'm pretty sure yours were still silver. My price is more then fair and i'm in no hurry, the hubs were bored to allow fit over the Legend Hub which is also something to consider maybe not for many on this forum but this isnt the only place i'm selling them.

i dont know about peeling or crappy finish... but mine were in a clean mint condition when i got the car from the dealer... I dont know how much better chrome can actually look... but i thought my set were pretty top notch and yes my center caps were silver but i had no care for them cause chrome isnt my thing... i took them off the next day and sold them ASAP... GLWS!

ACURA chrome look rims are garbage, this is the real deal and you have to pay to get unique. I personally don't like them, but a decent price considering new tires are about $600.
