I won't know an exact price until I validate the harnesses next month, but my target for the NA kit is $795... pre-programmed and ready to install. I don't see any reason right now the price will vary by more than a few dollars from that figure. As I
said, if the GB reaches the minimum number of 20%, the discount is 10% and if it reaches 30, the discount is 15% so the respective costs would be $715.50 and $675.75.

Ok guys here's the deal.. Right now we are at about 25.. Here's how the breakdown will be or approx. :

20 - $715 = 10% discount
25-29 - $700 = 11-14% discount
30-39 - $675 = 15% discount
40+ - if we hit it is 20%

More then likely we will be ending this in 2 weeks..

Here's the quote from jack at UniChip

"Thanks. I've had three different guys call me direct over the
past two days inquiring about prices and seeing if I'll drop them... I told them each that for now the prices are as we discussed, but that if the GB stagnates at something between 25-30 people, I'll prorate the discount some. If you get 27 people, the discount will be more than 10% but less than 15%. I also told them that once the GB is closed, it's closed.

Any inputs from the TLP guys?"

Like it says once the GB is closed then it's closed and people will be expecting to pay in the area of $1,000

senojscott: I was planning on giving Jack a call this past week, but got bogged down with work and deadlines. I will give Jack a call sometimes next week and see what he says about me going down to Oregon and having Unichip using my car as a guinea pig for the TL-P Unichip. If you talk to him any time soon, let him know to expect my phone call. Thx!

He's been asking about the TLP guys, so he'll be glad to hear from you...! And you'll been doing the TLP community a huge favor + a possible free chip. Can't beat all that..

Come on. We can get 40 people can't we? Between the A-cl and A-tl boards? Between the TLS and TLP? I hope so.

Okay, as promised. Here is the address where to send the deposit to:

15070 NW Centeral Dr. Apt. 507
Portland OR 97229

This is an apartment PO Box. Free.

Please have a bank issued check for $100 made out to Uni-Chip.

Brian,

I'd prefer them to pay someone within the forum like you who will then pass the money over to me... the idea is for me to work the tuning/hardware side while someone is working the GB issues within the forum.

There's no need to wait, what we'll do is to establish a cutoff date for participation... I'd recommend Friday 12 March just to pick a date. If someone wants to be in the GB, they must have all required information (name, address, e-mail, telephone number, car, and modifications) to you by that date.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Jack

Toll free 1.866.643.7400
Local 1.503.6407465
Fax 1.503.214.6444

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So please also provide me with all of the information needed from Jack. I will make the delivery on March 12th.

Let me know if there's any questions.

Unfortunately No.. Still need someone to go up for testing. But you're more then welcome to call Jack at UniChip and see what he has to say.. You guys may be able to get on the GB now and get the testing done later. I have no clue but it may be worth calling to find out details..

I posted on A-CL.com ... I'm in! ... We're at 32 people now I think. So close to that 40 mark. Common guys, 8 more people and we're at $636, thats great for 10-15hp across the ENTIRE rpm band.

Installation should be simple for this thing, just unplug the wires to the stock ECU, plug in the piggyback Unichip and plug in wires from the Unichip to the stock ECU. The ECU is inside the car so its not hard to get to.

I'm interested. I'm wondering if it's too late? I can have my bank send a check online, but it will take a day for them to write it, then the snail mail for the paper.

Big Rubber, it's not too late. It looks like the March 12 deadline will be extended because a lot of people are sending their money just now.

Well, I didn't get a response from senojscott from the PM I sent him, so off the check went. Just wondering, did he misspell the address? He listed it as "Centeral Drive", when I think it might have really been "Central Drive". Anyway, not my place to question a street I know nothing about, so I sent it to "Centeral Drive". I hope it doesn't muck things up if it turns out to be the wrong address.

I'm almost positive we'll hit the 30 mark so expect our total to be $675..

Whoever wants to join this groupbuy still has time. Brian is going to be taking checks to Unichip every Friday. So get your $100 deposit to him ASAP to make sure you get in on this deal. Make all payments payable to Unichip and send them to Brian at the address below.

You need to send a $100 deposit in the form of a money order or personal check made out to Uni-Chip and send it to the below address.

Brian King
15070 NW Central Dr. Apt. 507
Portland OR 97229

Since it looks like you will be the 30th person, the remaining $575 will be due in about 1.5-2 months.
