Wiper Blade advice

I just bought a 2013 Certified-used Acura RDX from Lougheed Acura in Coquitlam a couple days ago. I was told the car passed a 125 point inspection. Unfortunately the wiper blades are the worst I've ever seen and I am having a hard time seeing the road and am virtually blinded at night from the smearing. The car is unsafe for night time operation.

I needed input, Does my extended warranty require only Acura to service the vehicle? should I book a service appointment with my local Acura Langley for wiper replacement? or is it okay to just take it to my local Canadian tire and save some money?

Take Care,

Go buy some wipers at Amazon or any auto parts store and call it a day.. Its wipers! They're not going to void your warranty

Any benefits in using Inserts? Acura seems to be pushing the inserts on their website. Wiper Blades

If you haven't already I would just buy the inserts, they were 7 dollars each at the dealer, even a cheapo blade cost more, pretty worth it to me

Yes, I ended up buying Wiper Inserts at Langley Acura. Total cost for both front wiper inserts was $24. I hope the metal strip in the wiper doesn't fly out, never made any kind of clicking noise. At least I can see again.

I've always bought inserts and they work fine. I also use Rain X, which helps eliminate streaks and smears.

thats exactly how my wife's RDX looked like until she told me. I promptly went to O'Reilly and got the midlevel Rain X ones. took like a minute tops to pull out both old factory blades and insert the new ones.

That picture was me driving the car home from the dealership the day I bought it. Acura said they did a 125 point certified used Acura inspection, clearly bogus, Acura didn't even turn the wipers on to see if they work. Certified used is Acura marketing gimic, there's clearly no inspections taking place.
