Supermoon

went out to the beach last night to try and capture the "supermoon" it was tougher than i thought..it happened so fast and only had a few minutes to shoot before it was up higher in the horizon...when it was first rising it had a reddish/orangy color to it...then when it was up higher..it was just a big bright white ball...
the first 2 was when it first started rising...then the last 2 the moon was already high up so i tried long exposures...most of the light that was lighting up the pier was from the moon...

Pretty cool. I like how the water looks like you can walk on it. I just tried shooting it over my house last night. I couldn't get an angle to show the size so it basically looks like the rest of my moon pictures:

It's a cheapy Tamron 300mm 1:4-5.6. I first got it when I got my D60 a couple years ago.

it was raining so i didnt bother. plus i lost the plate for my cheap ass tripod.
