Sunrise on Skyline Drive, VA
A couple of weeks ago I went down to Skyline Drive to catch the fall colors. Got there around 0630, man was it dark. I saw about a hundred deer and they all seemed to be in the road. I took photos from several of the overlooks and climbed up to one of the summits then headed for home. I took these with the Canon XSi and the EF 28-135mm lens.

Nice pictures! Not trying to hijack your thread, but, any idea if the eagles have arrived at Conowingo dam yet? If so, I might drive up there on Veteran's Day.

They are there, I saw a thread somewhere pointing out about 50 of them about two weeks ago.
