A level 5 (SR5) rumor, so most likely going to happen
NEX - 6

I'm thinking basically a NEX-7 without the OLED EVF?

dude, if you want a NEX, get a used 5N from B&H. The 5N is really impressive, a lot of people that have owned both the 7 and 5N say it really IS a better bang for the buck. But then it really depends on how you shoot... I shoot in Aperture mode about 85% of the time and in terms of controls... it's just fine for me.

NEX-5R: Looks almost exactly like the NEX-5n and has the flip screen from the NEX-F3. It has a completely newly designed 16 Megapixel APS-C sensor with Phase Detection AF pixels. It has WiFi connectivity and APP support. You can surf on Internet with it. Price around $700 with kit lens.
NEX-6: It’s a mini NEX-7 with integrated viewfinder. Compared to the NEX’7 it has an EVF with less resolution and same newly designed 16 Megapixel APS-C sensor. It has WiFi connectivity and APP support. Price between the NEX-5R and NEX-7 (NEX-7 is currently priced at $1200 at Amazon so my guess is around $950 and $1000).
Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6: It is a pancake zoom with OSS and power zoom.
Sony 11-18 f/4.0: Normal (non pancake) zoom.
Sony 35mm f/1.8: Fast non expensive prime lens as big as the Sigma 30mm lens.

if the price is ok with the NEX-6, i MAAAY go with that, but if its priced closer to 1 grand, i think i might just go for the NEX-5R after seeing your pictures.
or maybe even the EOS-M

A little confused about the A99 rumors. Isn't 14bit raw something that canon has had since the 40D/1Dmk3? And Nikon since the d700/D3?
Would've thought they would've had that by now too

Damn, that Phase/Contrast Hybrid AF on the 5R sounds awesome! If it works as advertised,I might have to sell the 5N and get the 5R.
Two things here (just thought I mention), the touch screen's touch-to- focus is from Olympus and all the Wi-Fi features were already done by Samsung
