So I rented an a7rii and a 24-70 for a shoot/to take on vacation a few weeks back and honestly wasn't a fan of the form factor and button placement.. Maybe I'm just used to the Canon UI but it wasn't very intuitive. +1 for being smaller and lighter, articulating touch screen is a nice touch too. But overall, at that price point, I think I would still prefer a 5D.
away. Maybe I was just severely misinformed and just didn't know how to use it properly. Anyone come from Canon and felt differently?

A9 for $4500 is lol. I'll stick with what I have. Guessing the 100-400 is going to have a similarly insane price tag.

Video looking thru the viewfinder, you can see them fire off some pics, like they said, no blackout (looks like they have a OSD box that flickers to let you know its taking a shot )
Another video, sadly it looks like per this video the A9 doesnt offer Log recording and accessing the menu is disabled until the buffer is cleared, but like the A6500 you can review images while the buffer is clearing.
