i personally think it is especially with that grip

sounds like it has alot of features the next 5D should have.

for some reason Sony just doesn't appeal to me with any camera of theirs...TVs yes, but i'll stick to Nikon (or Canon) for my photography needs...

Though the spirit of Minolta lives in that camera. Sony has A LOT to prove with what they can do. Plus I just know they have a rootkit to be installed with their software.

Yeah, that is one fugly camera. I just couldn't pull the trigger on a camera (SLR) made by Sony.

This is one of those cameras where megapixels are the only thing that will make it sell. The resolution is impressive, but AF, ISO, and general usability are way behind the market leaders. Sony is making steady progress, but it will be a few generations before they really get things sorted.
