Sandals Whitehouse
Its very hard to take bad pictures in such a beautiful place. I recently got married and on our honeymoon went to Westmoreland, Jamaica and stayed at Sandals Whitehouse over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a wonderful time. We were told this is the Sandals to go to if you don't like the party crowd, want to get away from it all, and dont want to do anything but sit on the beach...perfect for a honeymoon. There was rarely a crowd anywhere the entire time, and the staff was more than accommodating. There is, however, a one and a half hour bus ride from Montego Bay that is white knuckle.
All in all...Jamaica, although poverty stricken, brutally violent, and probably the most homophobic island in the Caribbean, wasn't too bad.
Enjoy.

Congrats and nice shots.
My wife and I stayed at Sandals Montego Bay a few years ago over Thanksgiving. Definitely the most relaxing vacation we ever had. But, yeah, Jamaica has some crazy drivers and life is hard for most.

I actually have shots from the drive.
It was about an hour and a half...passing on blind curves, 3 wide with really only room for 2, people walking everywhere, honking at everything, giant pot holes, people driving on the wrong side, etc. There was one point where we we're going 60mph with a car so close in front of us, I could not have walked through the space. No slowing down for anything.
Its truly another world. The driving is chaos. Reminds me of those videos of Vietnam where there are 1000s of scooters.
Notice the space below to pass. We're in a 14-18 passenger bus. We were traveling about 40 here, so was the passing truck. We surely took out some vegetation on this pass.
