my suggestion is, Lexar Image Rescue.

http://www.lexar.com/software/image_rescue3.html

it worked really well for me when I had the need.

I think it comes with most Lexar cards - it did with mine.

It came with my Lexar card also, but I no longer have a copy of it. Will buy it if I can't find a free recovery program. Thanx for the reminder of this program.

Dan if you are familiar and comfortable with BT, you might want to try to download

http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3880731/Hirens_Boot_CD_9.3

If you search for the words "Recovery" you will find that under Recovery tools, there are several programs to recover lost files which includes pictures and one specific program for photo recovery.

Hirens is basically an all-in-one diagnostic/tool for Windows and is reputable and virus free.

Here is a smaller recovery tool although I have no idea if it works.

if srika couldn't help you, use this http://www.active-undelete.com/ works really well for recovering files from flash media. I once used it when my group and another group in my class had to present the same day, turns out we were all re-hearsing at the library a couple days before and one of the other group people needed a thumb drive to get there shit to a printer. When they gave it back they had deleted there shit, but I used active-undelete to recover it so my group would know what they were going to say to ensure our presentation was much better lol.

Nothing wrong with a little competitive intelligence, or as from my favorite movie Hackers, "Snoop onto them, as they snoop onto us"
