Quick price ? Nikon D3100

Craiglist sale for Nikon D3100 with 1,300 shutter count with 18-55mm,55-200mm VRs bought last xmas for $600? Sorry if this didnt need its own thread.. mods can close it if so

The 55-200 goes for $220, so You're looking at $820 brand new, $600 used. It's really you're call. I don't have experience buying used, so I can't say one way or the other. Sorry

i love saving money, but i hate the thought of buying a camera used...

like said, the kit sold out the store for $600... you can always buy another lens later.. but having a warranty and a piece of mind would be worth it to me.

now if the price was $400

He had averything that goes with it, blank warranty cards, Receipts box bags.. and the shutter count i got myself when i took the Exif off a pic. ...hmm its seem like ive made up my mind myself well see what i do when i go look at it again.. hah but its good to get you guys opinions on it tho. thanks-

I may be in a similar situation as the OP....however if given the choice (price being nearly the same...and same camera conditions) would you go with a Nikon D3100 or Canon 2Ti?

D3100 is has better lowlight IQ than the Rebel line.

pretty darn close, but the 3100 does show a better rating in the ISO dept.

Those are just numbers. There's a couple videos on youtube (which I can't find right now), that show just how poor the Rebel sensor is when it comes to lowlight and shadows.
