question about resizing images
say i have about 600 images that i want to resize to be posted on the internet, is there a quicker way to do it than to resize them one by one?
is there a specific program for this or an option in photoshop?

If you use flickr as a host, you can download the flickr uploadr that will automatically resize them for you. Other than that, you can record a resize action in photoshop then run it as a batch through bridge.

hmm... dont have any of those on this computer, and dont want to wait until jan 3rd to get back to my computer

Do you have Digital Photo Professional? (Sorry, I don't know what camera you've got, & I'm too lazy to go try to find out
) If you do (comes with Canon DSLR's & maybe other Canon cams), you can select all photos in a given folder & use the "batch process" function to resize everything at once.

anyways yes it does do batch jobs you just select whatever images you want like you would if you were to copy and paste them and then it resizes them to preset settings or custom settings, which i had to do cause the preset sizes were like 640x480 when the aspect ratio of the XTi isnt 4:3, only thing ive noticed is that some of the pictures you can notice the loss of quality on resizing. anyways gonna take ages to resize the 600 pictures. ima get started now
