Print?

Where do you guys get your photos printed? Is there a good online or chain company that prints really well? I tried target but didnt like the homey glossy disposable camera look of the paper.

The few I print I do at home on a little Canon dye sub printer, but they do come out glossy. I may get an Epson R1800 for larger and matte prints.

This has been asked b4 ...I ended up using Snapfish.com and definitely recommend them. They're the only one I've used so far so I cannot give u a comparative review. Looks just like good ol' film prints.

As was already stated, there's a bazillion threads on this floating in the AZ archives.

Pretty much any lab that uses the Fuji Frontier or Noritsu printers is capable of giving good results. It just depends on whether their staff knows what they're doing and if they give a damn about the work (both making the prints and keeping the machines maintained).

I only searched this forum and I searched print thinking it would obviously return the thread...guess I should have searched deeper.

I think I am going to try out www.winkflash.com They are local (in RI) and my girlfriends aunt has used them and been pretty happy with the pictures. I haven't seen any printed out first hand, but for as cheap as it is, it can't hurt to try.
