These are some pictures I took about a month or so ago at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Although colors are visually attractive, I've been intrigued by high contract b&w photography recently. please c&c! thanks for looking!

Do you have any links to good tutorials on achieving high-contrast b&w. I will be shooting my grandfathers wedding and thought I might like to try some artistic shots.

Nice shots! I like doing the high contrast b/w too. Do you have Lightroom? There are a lot of excellent plugins for this type of processing. This look with a touch of film grain can save a slightly out of focus shot.

 

nice, i still have yet to process my pictures from the getty. too bad they are on my busted HD.

hdcolumbus: i actually don't have lightroom. I'm going to try to get a copy because I heard a lot of great things about it ... makes life so much simpler than using photoshop all the time @__@
