This is was my furthest trip west ever. Sent there on an assignment, so I made the best of it! Views from California, Nevada and Arizona...

I flew to vegas, but had to rent a car (the pt cruiser, whoop-te-do) to drive to my assignment in AZ. I did drive to Death Valley too.

Did you see the latest Top Gear, they drove from San Fran to Bonnaville Salt flats and were complaining about how strait the road was.

and you have nothing to look at.

When I went to college I would drive from NY to Colorado and driving though Kansas was like that, but at least there there were silos and other things to look at, so you start playing how far is that silo and seeing how long you can keep the center of your car on the white line to keep your mind occupied.

that back road in the CA desert,drive down it about 80 miles and u end up in 29 palms,thats where i grew up.
