So i was looking for another photo browsing software because i m tired of acdsee

i came across this program called picasa, i assume google bought them out..
so anyways it's a neat little program, i let it scan my computer it displays them
in folders and order by date, i realized i got stuff on my hdd from back in 2000.
hehe pics like the MDX Concept pics LOL!
best of all, it's fast...

awesome man. I was reluctant to try this, I always thought ACDSee was the best. But you're absolutely right, ACDSee has been bugging the hell out of me lately because of its slowness. And I'm not even running the newer versions, I'm using ACDSee 32 2.4!! Forget the later versions, they were all too slow.
Picasa is great.. it reminds me of a Mac, and don't tell anyone but.... I seem to LIKE that similarity....

I've also been using picasa for a while. For other purposes I've been using Irfanview 32 for many many years now, it's also a nice tool, but doesn't manage photos like picasa, it's more of a high speed viewer.
From what I understand, yes it is. here's the link http://picasa.google.com/
