The Pepper Spray Incident

Shot a fun little test film with my D800.

It might not make a whole lot of sense what was tested...but the results are VERY impressive.

We shot this using ONLY available light. It was shot primarily at a really high ISO of 1250. And it was shot to SD card in camera with color grading done in post.

Whats impressive is the low noise levels at such a high ISO. The performance of the camera using only the light that was in the garage. AND just how well the compressed video shot to card handled color grading in post without falling apart.

Call me impressed.

Used a 24, 50, 85 and 70-200

The Slider is from a korean company called Konova. Did a lot of research on inexpensive sliders and this one is fantastic.

Really good looking video. Dslr's are really impressive with their video quality these days. What software did you edit in?

amazing what you can do with a camera these days, you should work as a camera man or something!

Seriously though, amazing work for a SLR with available light. I'm sure being in the hands of a professional didnt hurt though

Funny video! Nice work. One thing though, coming from the photo side of things, ISO 1250 isn't that high. 25000+ is high iso.

Thanks, in the realm of cinematography 1250 is high.

ISOs have stills vs motion are different when it comes to ISO.
