Need help 5D3 intervalometer?

So I just upgraded to the 5D3 from the 60D and figured out my shutter release from the 60 doesn't work on the 5D3 . I've also been interested in doing some time lapse star shots. came across this intervalometer on B&H

Does anyone have it or can give any advice on a different one they like? Thanks in advance

I've never seen anybody talk about it here.

Did you read the reviews for this item?

Also POTN has people that are using it...

I search POTN for "Vello Wireless ShutterBoss " came up with about 20 thread, some are B&S.

After looking at some of the reviews on B&H, I don't think you can go wrong. The Canon goes for about $150.

^ Ya think I might go with that one. I saw the Canon one that was $150 that's why I was looking for a cheaper alternative. Really surprises me Canon didn't incorporate an intervalometer in to the 5D3 for the price tag it carries .. but oh well..

It is funny that they leave you wanting more for the price. Guess most do it!

How the hell does the 5D3 NOT have an intervalometer??? Especially when the competing camera (which costs less) has one...

Its amazing how I LOVE LOVE LOVE Canon's current Cinema EOS line up (when I used to HATE their cinema line) and find their current still bodies to be lacking in certain areas. for a 3300 body, there is no reason why one can't be built into the firmware.
