Need advice guys.

I have been doing amateur photography for awhile now and just today i was offered at my job to do photography for the food catering company. I explained to him that i do this for a hobby and that i only have entry-level equipment. Still he insists that we work out something since he seems desperate since they post what they are serving each week, but with no pics. How much should i charge for taking pictures and editing(bordering and watermarks)? Im thinking that i should charge per picture. Also any ideas i should offer toward this.

Cliffs:
Got offered a part-time doing photography for a catering company.
dunno how much to charge?

Do it. Learn from it. Charging depends on the structure of the shoot and what they're expecting from you. Are they charging per print? Is it online only (no prints)? Will you charge an hourly rate for time spent or just per shot? Plan how you'll handle going from shot to proof to selection to delivery and plan your pricing based on that. How many shots are they looking for? If prints, what types? What paper? What size? How will they select which shots get paid for? Will you?

Sorry man, I totally forgot about this thread. Pretty much its straight forward. I take pictures of the food that he prepares. edit them on photoshop, put them on a CD. They develop what pics they want, They are mostly for the website, so i don't have to worry about prints. at least for this client.

Take a look at your expenses going there, going back, editing photos, etc.

I have a photographer that I use for family pictures. He charges me low for the shoot, and then $20 each to enhance pictures in PS4. I print them myself, he just provides a disk.
