Well, it went like this...
"Hey Austin, if we go camping and you wake up and your a**hole is sore...would you tell anyone?".

Austin: NOPE! LET'S DO THIS!

Seriously though, we miss him...he keeps posting trees and rivers he's shooting wherever he's camping. Very nice.

I might be getting Lightroom! Woot!
That said, I STILL think that I'll be inclined to shoot without having to edit.
I'll probably just get more choosy about what photos really DO it for me and then mess with those only.

J, you'll love LR, but you'll end up editing EVERY picture even if you don't think you need to. You'll be like "ehh, this is a good shot!", then get it in LR and then you're like "damn, it's so much better now".

It helps you but ruins you all at the same time.

I edit because I don't think the camera really captures the scene like your eyes do. And I just like to, but J, I only edit the pictures that have good composition, ect, out of the 400+, expect to see less than...umm...probably 80.

Tyler, good advice, thanks man.
I guess I'll just use it to salvage ones I liked but were too dark/light.

Like, in Lightroom? No.

I'd be torn between ratings and it would drive me nuts.

Austin, jeezuz...can you post the first 3 pictures at least? If you post all 80 at once, 6 people will look. Gotta have a slow release!

You should try rating your photos. Once you rate the photos you can just have those rated photos show. it will make the editing so much easier as in searching and workflow

I have a few more to edit but they require more than what LR can do.

I just saw the rest of your set. Landscape is my thing so I thoroughly enjoyed them. So jealous that you got some fog shots. I've never encounter any fogs with my camera near by. I've only encounter them when I wake up in the morning to go to school!

Austin. What is your secret? Must be the cooler air? Here in FL you're all derpy with your equipment...you go to NC and come back with NatGeo worthy shots. Something smells fishy and it ain't JUST your poon!
