Monster Jam

so the monster trucks were in Tulsa last night and tonight and my son wanted to go see...

about halfway through the show one of the staff ladies that works there comes up to me and says they don't allow detachable lenses. i told her i wasn't aware of that rule and she says it's not written anywhere, unlike the no video cameras and lasers rule. so i had to put my camera away the rest of the show...

next time i'm still gonna shoot w/ my DSLR, just won't detach any lenses...

i ended up with just over 200 decent shots, but its late, so 14 is all you get...and i didn't want to take the time and post-process all of these, so you'll have to live with any poor colors in them...

yeah as far as entertainment goes, Tulsa is near the bottom of the barrel...hell, they didn't even put mud on the ground...had to smell burnt rubber the entire time instead...and because they had to drive on concrete, it caused one of the trucks to blow a tire near the end of the show...

yeah that was pretty cool to see on his truck...in fact, the entire Monster Jam show was really observant of all the people who serve our country...

before the national anthem, the host had all police, fire, EMSA and military people stand to be recognized and told them how they're fighting for our freedom lets us do these type of things...was pretty nice...

Cool stuff rimz! I haven't been to a Monster Jam since I was 12.

Here's a cool tilt-shift time-lapse video someone sent to me today:
