we don't get international car shows like that here...maybe somewhere down south like orlando or miami...

btw..great pics...my pics with the 40D doesn't come close to yours...maybe i'm robbing myself of quality by not having LR or CS3...

Thanks for the nice words. Good glass helps for sure. I also have a passion for cars and love shooting them, so maybe that's coming through, I don't know. As far as software goes, you can get just as good results with DPP, which is a very good RAW converter. I just like that LR has more overall features and managing files is easy with it too.

Which lenses are you using with your 40D?

good glass is definitely a major factor...your passion for cars shows in your photos...
i just got my 40D a few weeks ago and really haven't had much time to go out and shoot...right now i'm using the kit lens but i also have a 10-20mm,50mm f/1.8,& 70-200mm f/4L...i'm thinking of getting the 24-70mm f/2.8L for christmas as a gift to me from me ...

Just Lightroom for these shots. I use a preset for all the exports, which sets the size @ 1024 pixels on the long side (adjustable obviously), sRGB color space and about 85 on the quality slider. It then deposits them in a folder of my choosing.

All the processing is done in LR prior to the export. Nothing special, but LR lets me do just about everything in that app.

omfg...find me a sick backdrop like that in Richmond

that pic is effing sick man haha, usually in night pictures, what I hate is the street lights or whatever have huge halos around them causing the picture to seem blurry, but this came out great

What program do you use to edit? Also, is that HDR?

oh btw...Macs are the shit.

Adobe Lightroom, Corel Paint Shop Pro XI. It is not an HDR. And I agree, Macs are shit.

oh.... we almost got kicked out of one of those underground locations. rent-a-cop came out and asked for our ID's. wtf.. I was hiding in my car and he approached Rubin first, I thought Rubin was handing him a business card or something.
