So, I don't do anything on flckr except post up my photos. I'd like to hope one day someone worthwhile will see my stuff and attempt to contract me.

Anyway, so I'm sure like many of you, other people add photo as favorites or add them to various groups.

A long time ago someone added one my LAUSD protest photos some us political group.

Well, now I got some notice that I have been banned from said group.

I dont really care, but I find the whole thing odd. Silly really. Kind of buys into why I stayed from places like flickr and photobucket for so long.

Anyone get these random experiences?

 

The groups are "it's my ball and I'm going home and taking it with me".

 

my 2 cents: don't take it personally.

 

I just think its silly because

1) I never added that photo to the group.
2) I never participated in that group.

So, someone added a portrait I took, and I got banned. Just more internet retardedness.

 

Someone got their panties in a bunch. I wouldn't even bother responding, although I know I wouldn't have the self control to NOT fire off a quick email...

Maybe include a picture of a short bus?

 

Maybe someone got jealous of your photos? or they want to claim your photos?

 

 

Why does stuff like this only happen to Sarlacc?

 

I'm not even active on that site...ever...makes me wonder if I should put larger watermarks on my stuff right in the middle. I certainly dont participate in groups that other people add my stuff to.

I dont have downloads or anything turned on.

If I remember the correctly the photo that someone else added to that group was a UAW worker supporting a teacher rally.

 

maybe I should turn of the ability for people to add my stuff to groups?
