I wish my camera had a 'disable delete'
I wish my camera had a 'disable delete'
Some cameras actually had this in the past.
It annoys the hell out of me when people delete their pictures off my camera.
Since pictures are numbered, it's easy to do a quick picture count and see if any pictures are missing. And if there are, it's a serious 'WTF' moment.
Sometimes, it's technically 'OK', like I hand my camera to someone and let them shoot whatever they want. And then they might delete pictures they screw up/don't like. That's sort of OK, but later It's not so trivial to tell which pictures they shot vs pictures that someone else deleted when they were looking through my camera.
Hmm, maybe I can remap the button on the 7D.

can you protect/lock the images?...i know it's an extra step, but on nikons you can protect images so they can't be deleted. I don't really know how it works, but might stop some people. I've never had people delete images, they just tell me to delete them and I usually don't.
