How heavy is your camera bag?

And what kind is it?

I'm about to head off for Hawaii, and I weighed my bags:

My camera bag weighs a lovely 25 pounds. (Tenba Backpack)
My suitcase, containing the rest of my stuff, weighs 33 pounds.

Granted, the camera bag currently contains my laptop, extra batteries,
and AC adapter (for charging at airports), which adds to the bulk. Once
I arrive at the destination, I don't lug that around anymore.

Running around airports with the fully loaded bag isn't a big deal as long
as the chest strap is clipped.

I should have weighed my bag sans laptop, but i forgot. I'll do it when I get
back.

The last time I travelled with it to a workshop, my bag was right in the 25-27 pound range as well. No laptop in mine though. I have the Lowepro Phototrekker AW II backpack.

I have a small camera bag (Lowepro EX160) I got at CC for $20 because of a pricing error on their part. It's perfect for the xsi and one extra lens. When I flew home, the front pocket held the battery charger, USB cable and instruction manual. The front zipper pocket had my ipod nano.
My laptop (MacBook Air) gets carried around in a Yahoo Bag I bought in 2000 - it's a very compact bag and the perfect dimesions for the laptop. The only pocket in the bag held the AC adaptor, and the SD700IS.

Both bags together with everything on it probably weighed about 7-8lbs. Keeping them separate works out since you can take the laptop out at the TSA checkpoint easy (open velcro flap and toss it in the bin) and everything else just gets put right on the belt - no fussing around with anything else.
