Ok, got the trial version. I thought Photomatrix was simple and very easy to use. That said, here is my first attempt:

2nd and 3rd. The night time photo didn't turn out as well as expected, I probably need more time with it.

The pic is really nice but yeah, the prism is distracting.
It might work better if you convert it completely into a monocolor picture.

I was thinking of comments on earlier pictures, especially the
'this doesn't look like an HDR picture' comment. It's interesting -
You see a lot of HDR pictures that are low dynamic range! Everything gets brightened, and you end up with a picture with everything in the mid-tones.

and ironically, a picture where dynamic range is compressed, but still keeps a high dynamic range doesn't look like "a HDR picture.".

Frozen Motion

This one was from a trip to my cottage this past weekend.

Technical Details:
An HDR blend of 6 exposures ranging from 1/320 up to 8 minutes. Stacked B+W ND filters were used to extend the exposure time in daylight.

I'm just curious what PP did you do? I can't figure out how you were able to show the cloud motion while the water seems really free of blur.

bored at Miami Intl... (processed it at home) - it's on the 'overdone' side but I have some 'normal' ones too. God I love 747's. This beauty kept me entertained for hours, lol.
