nice photos there.
I really think that all photo websites should retain the exif info in their photos.

NOTE there is also some (non-obscene) NWS material... (such as a swimming nip-slip)
this is a site similar to somethingawful.com or other such sites... so keep that in mind.. there are some beautiful images, some obscene and some not-so-beautiful images..

overall I would rate them as pretty damn awesome.

and wow, they had some fantastic indoor lighting there.
the best lighting i shot basketball in was at the Anaheim convention center, and i was able to get 1/320th-1/400th f/2.8 iso1600
and in his shots he was able to get 1/800th f/2.8 iso1250
that is almost a 2 stop advantage!

The tilt shift shots of the BMX and diving are sweet. I like how he used that lens to break away from what other photographers were doing. The overheads are cool too.

geez, you would think they would run out of channels on the pocket wizards.
edit:
nevermind

Most photographers get custom Pocket Wizard Channels prior to the games… you can send your units in to LPA and get a custom channel for around $150 per unit - well worth it - and frankly indispensable at events like this - the last thing you want is to have someone else who’s shooting the half-point of the race fire off your remote by mistake… so that it’s buffering by the time the runners are reaching the finish line - and you end up with zip after more than 17 hours of waiting….

Before anybody gets to carried away remember that this guy does track and field and many of these cameras and bodies were set up as remotes. For the finals of the 100 metre sprints he used 25 D3 remotes plus one hand held to make sure that every piece of finish line action was caught. The remotes were generally fired by cable release.
