who watches it? It reminds me the dry humor you get for stuff like top gear. i guess you can say that: I like the Pro Photographer, Cheap Camera Challenges. I want to see the one coming up with the Lego Camera.

I watch DigitalRev whenever I can. It's not the most photographically technical but entertaining. I've noticed people either enjoy Kai's humor or hates it.

 

I enjoy watching them. I was in the market to upgrade my Rebel XTi. Khai was one of the main reasons why I just purchased the 7D last week (read lots of reviews on websites n youtube). I think Lok is funny LOL

Love watching them. I definitely like his humor and enjoy all the videos I watch. I love when people get to close to Kai when he is out shooting and he gives the camera funny looks. I feel that same way when people don't mind my personal space.

 

i want to see how the pro photographer cheap camera challenge fairs with the Lego Camera. i like all of their videos except when they reviewed the Ipad to a Canon T3 which was a waste of my time. not that im being biased about the bashing of the camera but it the fact they tried to hard to be funny in it. and it sucked.

 

you think that's bad... It's known in the Sony community that he's a total Sony hater. He shits on Sony all the time. He did a comparison video once with the Sony NEX (3C or 5N or whatever) and 2 other cameras in the same category. Whatever the tests were... it was pretty clear that Sony won, but yet for him to say anything positive (about Sony) it was like pulling teeth... when he did come around to saying something positive, he said it with... what seem like a sarcastic demeanor, like it was a joke. He'll almost always quickly follow it up with something negative to say, and he'll say it with no hesitance. Obviously it's why I don't care for his videos. Sorry, but if he wants to be respected as a review, he can't be biased. He doesn't even come close to being the "Jeremy Clarkson" of the camera world because Jeremy C. tells it like it is...

 

He doesn't hide the fact that he is a Nikon guy. He reviews other manufacturers equipment, and often compares to Nikon. He often uses humor in his videos. When he compares Canon to Nikon, he makes the same "humorous" remarks against Canon even when pointing out their strengths. He doesn't do it with the thought of disrespecting anybody. It is more like good old fashioned ribbing between siblings. He is just trying to make the videos fun. If he bothers you though, I suggest not watching.

Maybe so. But Jeremy Clarkson, in a Morris marinas point or most in American cars view can eat Shit n die. Probably the same view as you are thinking as a Sony guy. He tells it like it is in his mind.

yes, I shoot Sony's and I'm damn proud of it. I just don't sit there trash talking over gear. I'd rather just go shoot photos. But whatever man.

honestly i wasnt fond of Sony cameras from the get go.... probably just me. But when we met up at the Temple and i saw your equipment and what you were able to accomplish with the pics you took.. i was amazed! ill never look at sony like that again. except maybe in those point and shoot cameras lol. but seriously bro... you did an awesome job
