Took some shots of a well known landmark today...

 

for just one landmark, i find each of these shots interesting in its own way. very nicely done.

though i find the last shot before the city to also have great perspective.

It's Joe Louis' fist and was presented to they city as a gift from sports illustrated.

wow i've probably driven past it over 20 times but I've never seen it in such detail. Excellent shots! did you get any others in the area? If you walked through the GM buildings they usually have some interesting show pieces on display in the lower level of the shopping area.

Finally got a chance to look a these at home on a calibrated monitor. I really like the processing work. Especially in #1 where the desaturated look of the buildings in the background sort of matches the colors of the sculpture.

Maybe the porn industry will donate a sculpture to Detroit to complete the vision of Sarlacc's thread title.
