Sweet. I didn't see that one, but I used the other instant rebate to save $100 on the purchase of an XSi and EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens off Amazon this weekend and got the camera, 18-55 IS kit lens, and 55-250 IS for $778 with free shipping.

 

I am assuming the retailers have already marked down the bodies since the instant rebates started early November.

 

Probably. I just checked bhphoto.com and they have the instant rebates applied.

 

I know this is an instant rebate,

But for those mail-in rebates, be careful. The company that Canon (among others) uses to handle those has gone bankrupt.
