Does this mean the battery is completely shot? It isnt really that old. I have a Casio Exilim P&S. Can anyone comment on this? It isnt charging.

How old?

Batteries can start to go after a year. Also, when you charge it, how long do you keep it on charge? over charging the batteries can kill them, too.

Well I havent charged it in a while. Maybe like 4 months. When I put it in the charger, the red light started blinking. I thought thats what it was supposed to do. But when I read the manual, its supposed to just stay red, not blink. I put it in overnight and woke up to see it still blinking. It MIGHT be a year old.

Not keeping it charged could be part of the problem as well. batteries have a memory.
