Beautiful! Glad you got to do a little shooting on your honeymoon since the rest sounded like it sucked.

thanks Jeff! No family cabin, I stayed at the Harborside Hotel http://www.theharborsidehotel.com/

quite reasonable at $400 a night after taxes and resort fee

I had a good balance, they like to sleep in....so I did a lot of my shooting in the morning before they got up. Or I let them go to the pool a couple times and did some more then.

The best sunset Ive ever seen was watched from a little nest in the bushes which had a double lounge chair in it overlooking the harbor. Camera bag was forgotten and in the room.

Just looked at their prices for Oct., couple hundred per night, not too bad, but still a little high, but a nice place!

theres also a $25 per night "resort fee" which they bury in with the taxes. Kinda a gaffe, the only thing it gave us personally was a pool and hot tub which were ocean front instead of the main hotel pool. Everything up there is expensive, unless you go with the lower end motels etc.

I spent about $100 more a night than the second best place I was considering, and only went with it because it was a honeymoon. Im actually glad I did, the other place wasnt as nice, and was a little ways away from everthing, while the Harborside was practically in the middle of it.

heres a few more

It was really foggy the last day and a half, this was the sunset looking west from the resort. The island on the right is Bar Island, you can walk out to it at low tide and explore it. Hundreds of people were going out there every day.

I'm not sure which of these I like better
