Another wedding photog thread.
Another wedding photog thread.
I don't want to take away from Yum Yum's thread so here is mine.
I am currently looking at two different husband/wife teams. I haven't met with or spoken to either yet, though I did just contact one via email. I hope to hear from them tomorrow.

These people one of my friend's weddings a couple years ago. They did really great work, and they were super cool people. So, naturally we are looking at them. I have yet to talk to them though. But their work in a word...excellent. Which I'm sure will also come at a price, but photos are the one place in my wedding "budget" where I am willing to spend.

The husband is a fellow camera assistant. He is a south african bloke and a super nice guy. Both he and his wife attended the Brooks Institute of Photography. He is who I emailed tonight. I just saw their website for the first time this evening, and I must say I REALLY love their work. I love that they use film and digital, their compositions, their use of color. I'm very high on them at the moment.
So, opinions?

Also, see what packages they offer. You're a camera dude yourself, and so, I'm sure you know when someone is snowing you relating to this stuff.

I would go with A, I think they show unnoticed details and (not sure where or what type of wedding) they seem to bring in the environment nicely.
I came upon this today and thought of all of ya'll that are getting married soon.
Took the plunge

Congrats! One more step closer to the big day!
We also got invitations done and picked out.
There is a paper company here who is getting into invites so they are looking for couples who are willing to have their invites shown in a demo book, and give up some design choices.
Well, we met them, and will get our own design choice. and we are getting 90% off.....we are getting letter pressed heavy card stock (board basically) including the invite/ rsvp card and envelopes all for sick deal. so that is cool.
