Amanda

Here's my wife's co-worker Amanda who was gracious enough to model for me. More to come. I should have about 6-7 good shots from the photo session.

Wow!

Great lighting, great exposure, great model!

Was that a snooted strobe for the background illumination in the first? Awesome effect.

I love the pose in the second.

I like the above lighting on the first one that highlights her blond hair and the dof & warm tone on the second one.

Thanks!

I shot her against my green screen and added the background in post. This gave me the flexibility to choose what I wanted for my background.

Thanks, but she hardly had any makeup on at all. She's very tanned. She already had a nice color to her skin.

Thanks a bunch. I intentionally shot it that way. The rest of the photos have some dead space on either side.

Thanks. My favorite shot is the second one so far. The tone is what gets me. I tried a white balanced version and the warm version is the best by far!

Nice shots Conrad. Did you do much processing? The first looks a little overdone in her face. Really nice lighting too, and an appealing model.

Not much, some skin clean up. She's fairly tanned.

Here are a few more shots:

Good stuff....can see the green screen pull around her hair....SUPER hard with frizzy hair.

The super dilated eyes look very alien to me.

Nice set! The exposure is very good.

I too could notice the fringing and blur around the hair which were side effects from the green screen, but overall, the images were very nice. You should probably invest in a nice dark grey background too if you're going to be doing more of these portraits.

I noticed this also, is that just how she is? I know some people with blue eyes have large pupils, but was it very dark in the room?

I was hesitant to show the green screen setup. I have a feeling that if I didn't show the green screen, no one would have noticed anything different.

It was a bit dim in the two rooms, especially the dress shot.

Cool shots and setup. I wouldn't have noticed the green screen if you didn't post the setup.

So, the wife was okay with having a coworker over to your house and letting her get (what appears to be) naked in your bed?

Sure..... She had no problems. She was sitting on the couch watching us work, if you know what I mean.

Didn't want to create another thread. Here's the latest one. Last one for the set.

Lighting is nice on this last one, but overall I don't really dig it. Her expression is flat and her top is squeezing her skin. Also, this is the first image of her where the background obviously looks "off."

Maybe I'm just bitter that you haven't posted any followups to the second image.

Great lighting. You can easily make money doing portraits. IMHO

This new picture lacks presence. What I mean by that is it she looks more akin to a mannequin than a person. There is no personality.
