Free is still better. Somemade a drag and drop crack that basically tricks the program into thinking its registered. Its really quite simple and pretty amazing.

Adobe knows people pirate their software. There was even a time where they were OK with it so long as youre not profiting off its use.
If you plan on selling or your...then yes I endorse buying. But for casual use, I'm not paying that much. I'll shell out what I did for Lightroom, thats about it.

Pirating is theft, no matter how you try to justify it. I can't stop you from doing it, but don't wave it in front of my face unless you want to piss me off.
Thanks.

So I know the "contest" is over but I finally had the balls to go out and try this HDR thing that keeps blowing my mind every time I see a new pic in this thread. I found a cool spot here in Madison, just finished getting my TSX washed and figured what the hell... lets use the car.
Keep in mind this was my 1st try at HDR so if any of you old pro's have some sugguestions or comments... lets hear um. I'm a photography student so I'm trying to soak up as much as I can right now.
Heres the 2 I did... pretty similar but I tired one of the front, one of the back.
Not sure if I did the multiple exposures correctly... but here it goes.
1st shot, 5 exposures bracketed at f/7.1
![](http://www.fileden.com/files/30721/TSX%20HDR%201sm.jpg)
2nd shot 3 exposures bracketed at f/7.1
![](http://www.fileden.com/files/30721/TSX%20HDR%202sm.jpg)
Thanks for lookin guys (and gals). Hope you like them

Hey, nice work!
I'm glad you posted them even though the contest is over.
I especially like the second one. I like the stronger blacks, and the contrast with the rust-colored wall.
Oh, the car looks hot, too.

Man there are some great pics in this thread! I have no photography education, all I have is a Casio Exilim EX-Z750 P&S camera, but I still want to try my hand at some HDR shots. My camera gives me some A S M manual controls, EV Shift, WB, ISO, Metering (don't really know that that is for), as well as exposure control from 1/1600 of a second all the way to 60 seconds. Any tips for people trying to do this with a P&S camera?
For pictures where objects are moving, like some of the pics in this thread with clouds, how did you make your picture without getting blur of the moving objects?

*I passed the 5-minute time to edit my original post*
I guess I might figure this out later by myself after messing around with the HDR processing, but I don't understand how these HDR shots aren't overexposed. Especially that picture of the stars where the exposure was 21 minutes long. I don't get how the picture didn't turn into a white blob. But like I said, I have no photography education, so if anyone can give me an easy to understand explanation, I'd appreciate it.

i just downloaded it.. but still tryna figure out how to tinker with the settings to make the pic look kool.
any tips??

Welp, I guess I should post a couple of my own.
I mainly use it to keep my backgrounds from getting totally blown out, and I stray towards the 'this doesn't even look like an HDR' side of things.

Both are two image HDRs, (handheld via 40D burst mode) done with Dynamic Photo HDR.
