Not to criticize ACURAFEST and its host: UNIVERSITY OF ACURA in Fresno,CA; but this ACURA meet was one of the WORST show I'd attended. A waste of my $3 dollars for park enterance fees and 2 hours of my life that I can not get back, including my only day off work *SATURDAY*!!! Parking stalls are a mixture of all Acura, not a well coordinated parking spot such as RSX park by themselves and on. You got TL parked next to DIRTY A$S STI (seems like it was never washed since purchase from dealer) and BIG O FREAKING SUV double parking with "4 stage paint job '89 Integra - part red, flat black, blue, and primer - which probably was a mixture of 4 car into 1! WOW WHAT A SHOW they presented..... Personally I though it was ACURA only meet??? They got BMWs, Nissans, Toyotas, etc..... SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT MY 97 CAMRY INSTEAD AND HAVE ALL 4 DOORS OPEN FOR SHOW AND TO LET OTHERS KNOW WHAT A FAMILY GUY I AM!!! Looked like HELL broke loose and I was more worried and my car getting FOCK3D UP then the 107 degree in Fresno.SO IF YOU PLANNED TO HAVE ANOTHER ACURAFEST, PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CARS ARE ACTUALLY PLEASING TO THE EYES; BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THE COP TO RAID SOME CARS AND END UP WITH STOLEN PARTS AND WAS FRESHLY STOLEN FROM ANOTHER CAR IN THE SAME PARKING STALLS!!!!!

It seemed like everyone got along just fine. As for your kid, the show could have gone perfect as you envisioned and he STILL would've rather played with his XBox 360. As for the parking organization, it would've been too difficult to arrange it because people flake, then you have to move the cars again. I enjoyed it and would gladly attend another. Props to Roger (Triodesign) for putting the meet together.

^^ cracker jack, your screen name represent who you are. We appreciate your feedback, but it help if you use paragraph. While I dont disagree with your assessment, I think they did great. For the past two years, the venue was at Pismo Beach. But this year they change the location and even got sponsor involve so it's more difficult to organize.

One thing I will say is that all the Acuras should've been parked together. The Nissans, Hondas, BMWs, etc. should've had to park at the other end of the lot, not mixed in with the Acuras.

what? it was the first all cali ive gone to and i thought it was a pretty good meet. i enjoyed it a lot. i met a lot of cool people and i actually look forward to next year. sorry you missed out.

props to mike and roger for taking acurafest/all-cali to the level that i can only imagine since last years. i couldn't have imagined everything from sponsorships, to t-shirts, to raffles, and the triple digit heat was also a surprise.
good job guys, really pulled it off. this is a big step and i know next years will be another large step.

I was just messing around.. I'm sure that guy isn't probably a real car guy.. I've had fun at every single meet/show I've ever been to.. even the ones where it ends up only being like 5 cars lol I'm just mad cause I didn't get to go
Next year should be better, I hope...

It was fun day but I am kinda a disappointed with the parking because it everything looked outa place , dunno why. BUT it sure was nice fun day seeing all great looking cars in person.

I know what you are saying, I mean I wish all the cars were perfectly orangized like a show, but this is a meet, not a staffed show. I think some people tried to organize but when you have so many cars its really hard. Anyways I did not let the organization of cars or even the sweltering heat stand in my way of having a good time

Just got home from my 4.5 hour drive...it was worth every mile driven.
This was by far the largest attended acura meet I've attended...over 140 Acura's. A lot of real nice rides and great people. Having the sponsors, awesome free BBQ, Refreshments, and snacks; a great raffle with some awesome prizes (really wanted those slotted rotors), the "Acura" girls, t-shirts, window stickers, a DJ...what the hell do you want for a $5 park admission fee? If you had a suck ass time, that's on you, there was ton's to do and ton's of people to talk to, and ton's of rides to check out.
Also, thanks to Trio, his mom (who slaved over the BBQ), his son who helped out, and everyone else who kicked in...you guys did a great job
The only suggestion I'd make for next year, have people sign-up if they are interested in competing for one of the "Best of Show" awards (another great idea!!) I didn't know who the judges where and they never listened to or checked out my system. No disrespect to the guy who won "Best Audio System", but in a true competition I would have kicked your ass
By the way, you're car is incredible, all the detail work in the engine compartment is inspiring.
I will definitely attend the next Acurafest...well worth the travel
