New HID Bulbs what Kelvin

Stock 4300 Tix what are you running, Bryan I believe is 6000k Anyone else changed HID bulbs if so what did you put in

yes, mine are 6k warren
dont go higher than 6k, especially if its your wifes car. the higher the k, the less useable light you get. if you get the Kaixen bulbs, go with 5k


if you are going to open up your lights again, get the ZKW lenses :legump:

Went 6000 look great except drivers side did not light up checked fuses all good must be the ballast, re sealed drivers side light, Bryan jinxed me, well getting better at taking apart the bumper, little over 2.5 hours

yep... must be that ballast. I would almost say that its better to go aftermarket on 2 new ballasts versus one expensive ass ballast through ACURA.... or find the part number & find it online, then have ACURA price match it.

There a website for discount oem parts. I forgot it though. Fail on me! 6000k is the best I think and yes on those zkw. If I have to open mines again I would go with zkw and something special.. hehe!!

In thinking about the problem what does the brown connector hook up to on the side of the lights?
