mdkxtreme, i think you just opened a can of worms there lol. Your question would've been best asked to the specific organizers, triodesign and aznbo187 who's taken alot of their personal time to get this put together for all of us. Let's respect how they envision this event to be and inquire it with them. As stated in the OP
"Lastly, because of last years turn out, we decided to keep this more exclusive to Acura members only. We will be reaching out to Nsxprime, My8thGen.com (Accord), and a few select other forums closely related to us. Please do not post this on other forums without approval from Roger or I. "
and a response from aznbo187 to a similar inquiry
"Perfectly fine. Read first post. Keep in mind that we are not discouraging any other Honda/Acura's from showing up but we do have to keep in mind this event is a bit more limited in space and also on the hospitality of the venue itself. So not to tarnish our names, we really don't need any immature visitors that have nothing to offer.
"
so if your TSX group applies to "other forums" best to talk it over with the organizers first. Nuff said let's all of us move on and not haze the poor guy for wanting clarification and hoping for a great meet. IMHO it's gonna a be great meet and i leave it to the guys who've successfully done this in the past to know what they are doing. ghey hugs for all!

But any ways, totally different subject.
Is anyone bringing their kids to this meet? I have a fiancee that might consider coming and if she does, my three year old will come along also. I don't even know why she wants to come since she hates it when I work on my car but now wants to join my obsession.....

Trio has posted on club-TSX already, so I'm sure it's fine.

この道は毛むくじゃらのマンコだらけ..
Two years ago the only problem was that we couldn't get norcal and socal together to mingle together too well. I did have a great time meeting with some of the norcal people that I chatted with, but never met in person. That's why I love these meets. Everyone came together for food but that was about it. Don't know about last year since I didn't go though

Just to clear the air, the way I see it is:
-If your a member of acurazine, your good to go
-if you own an acura, your good to go
-if you heard about this meet on select auto forums previously okayed by mike or roger, your okay to go
we just have to protect ourselves from people enjoying our meet without any contributions.

word of this is spreading quickly again...
my buddy just text me saying that his buddy at work ( Valley Toyota in Hanford) found out about the meet and he wants to go..he drives a damn Miata. but i guess his wife works at Fresno Acura
we need to get an official sign up list of members, guests, staff and have someone make us some name tags or id so it doesnt get as out of hand as last year. yea we will have spectators and stuff, but we need to keep the freeloading at a minimum
should we set a signup deadline?

true..i dont mind other makes at all. i know people move on from acura, but i just dont want people freeloading is all. last year we all pitched in for goods and i think we had to make quite a few refreshment runs, all out of members pocket.
i know the casino will provide the food and stuff, but there has to be a fine line somewhere
i guess if they want to eat more, we can send them down the the buffet. the gf and i stuffed ourselves miserable and it was like 36 dollars. nice variety in food too

All azine members and acura owners will have name tags so we know who get first dibs. It is somewhat a car show but more of a gathering for all acura enthusiast to meet and chat about their interest in the same car brand. There will always be spectators...

Count me in!
October 9th, is a Saturday. I don't know which weekend I'm going back to San Francisco (Home), because I might decide to drive back up to SF this time; don't wanna pay for plane ticket. Both my cars are in LA (school, USC), lol.
You can put me down as:
HondaOnWorks, 1G TSX, SF, CA or LA, CA
