Last time there were vendors with parts, a BBQ, some nice prizes, about 200 cars to look at, and I met a lot of members of this board. I also enjoyed listening to some of the sound quality oriented systems.

The POS is still down. I think it ran once between last year and this year. I took on a project I don't have the money to complete. I may be able to borrow one though. I really would take it out there if it were running. Who knows, I may be able to finish it in time but I haven't touched it for 6 months.

That's what I'm afraid of. This car IS me. I've owned it since I was 17. I meet people to this day that have never met me but have heard about the car. It's almost funny when people start describing my own car to me that they may have seen run one time 10 years ago before they realize I'm the owner. People I haven't seen in years always ask how it's doing. From '95-'06 it was non stop Mustang, Viper, and Vette beatings. It would be a real shame to get rid of it but priorities are slowly changing.

sooo last year was a bit crazy, i was thinking, with all those cars coming out of nowhere.
I understand that we want to make this a big meet and all but I vote that we should not share/post this info on random car sites.
Im sure roger would be okay with other acura sites but it really got away from us when people started linking this to other car sites.

Trust me, I didn't want to get rid of my talon, especially after I had rebuilt the engine once, blew that engine, and was in the process of building a 2.3 stroker. But, I had priorities and the talon wasn't one of them.
Im sure late on I will be able to get another project car. I dont even have the time for a project car now......

awesome job on the flyers roger! I still use last years to recruit guys to acurazine.
thats why I said we probably shouldnt post this on random car threads like last year. It will be smaller but at least we wont have moochers. fking hate those guys that just came for the food and did not contribute. Roger worked hard for this and at least we can do is bring some food/drinks and those guys bring nothing but thier appetite.
