Your thoughts on the 300C

I think it's a killer even for 35k. Actually I think it's more of a bargain with the Hemi. Styling is not for everyone but what car is? Starting at 23k, this car is an absolute steal. One of the best American cars, if not the best American sedan currently behind the Acura TL.

I think you are going too far, sicklex...
Yea, it isn't a bad deal for 35k considering that it's the Hemi version. But with reliability and quality issues that seem to plague the DC line of cars these days (BTW CAR magazine just did the whole MB article on how reliability in MB's are non-existant now).
I don't know if I want to pay 35k for a Chrysler just for the Hemi. If cylinders are the issue, I would actually wait for the 05 'Stang with the V8, which is supposedly priced under 30k... but that would be just comparing the engine sizes and not much more.
And what about the upcoming STS? If the Hemi-equipped 300 was around 30 to 32k, I think I might, but only because the incentives would bring that down to 29 or so.
OT, how you been sicklex, haven't seen you here in a while.
Junkster, who thinks the Atlanta must be warming up by now.

Atlanta is getting hot, traffic is bad and I am contemplating moving back downtown as living in the suburbs is getting to me some.
Anyway, I don't expect Chrysler to be reliable or as reliable as others. That is why I think its a good car. Good size, spacious too.

I think the 300C looks like the new BMB--Broke Man's Bentley. Very attractive, but I'm more of a quality inspired person. Makes me think of the Jaguar (Ford) X-type. You can dress it up, but it's still a Chrysler so whatever you think of the company I'm sure still applies!

In Montreal, there are more 300 than city buses... It looks nice but everywhere you look, there's one... It's a good thing the TSX is not as popular... But indeed it looks pretty good for a Chrysler...

The front end of the 300 is great. The rear end is out of place. Chrysler put a beautiful, striking front end on the car and forgot to do something to the rear end. It's way too angular for the round, sleek front end.
Besides forgetting the rear end, they looked over the interior, too. There's nothing unique about the inside of this vehicle and they really should have carried the Tortoise shell theme through--that was one of the show car's UNIQUE, cool styling elements. Besides all of this, someone really needs to tell Chrysler that their HVAC controls and radio controls are total crap.
