The Escape has been an 05 since January, That and a minor Ext and Int facelift undoubtedley helped.
Lets not again get into why Accord sales are down.
I love how Toyota lumps Matrix sales with Corolla sales. I know they share a platform but the two cars could'nt be more different IMO.

Actually, I see tons of Escapes..and alot of rental places have them too. The last time I heard, they've got more pre-orders for the hybrid version than they were going to start off with.
Glad to see you back Sicklex...

I think I read somewhere that Toyota includes their fleet vehicles into that number but Honda doesn't (because they are sold at such deep discounts, Honda doesn't think the sale counts).

Does that mean Honda can lump the Civic/CRV/Element/RSX/etc sales into one? As it is, if you lump the Corolla and Matrix together, you only get 3000 more than the Civic by itself...interesting.

Thanks for the reminder virus. I guess I just keep telling myself trolls don't exist...and the one comes up and bites me in the butt.

Ok - I think I am convinced ... these number results are more of a game than revenue reporting from companies.
Accord rentals? Yeah sure thing those are all over the place ... and I'll remind you ... Hertz is partly owned by Ford.
Gilbo ... don't get mad ... you're our #1 troll ... you should feel special

Gilbo, you're the #1 troll as voted by us, and the most durable as well as you have a post count of 788 useless comments.
You definitely deserve props for being so persevering in making a dumbass out of yourself!

But I digress, we're really getting off topic...and isn't that really the power of the Troll?

It's interesting to me that with all the hype in the media about SUVs, only 4 of the top 20 are from this category: Ford Explorer and Escape, Chevy TrailBlazer, and Jeep Grand Cherokee (and how long has it been since they updated that!)...and that none of these are the full-size or larger models. I guess fleet sales of trucks will always put them at the top.
Sad thing is, this list doesn't even come close to holding up in Dallas/Ft. Worth. It would be jam-packed with SUVs...especially the big ones: Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade, Suburban, Expedition, etc. How's a soccer mom supposed to haul her two precious kids around in a tiny Explorer? Their Kate Spade diaper back and Ralph Lauren playpen won't hardly fit in that thing!

Interesting to see Impala sales increase, especially for a 6 year old car...much better looking car than the new Accord!
