What's with Subaru and so many models with battery drainage problems? My bro in law was going to get an Outback but was spooked away by the many horror stories.

I think it was addressed with the 2023 models, I haven't had any issues, but to be honest, I heard about this and when I was out of town for 3 weeks, I started the engine (and stopped it) twice a week remotely with the app just in case

I hope it was. Subie has a whole lot of disgruntled customers right about now. They just paid out in the class action law suit, with no recall or fix for the current affected cars 2017- 2022.

We've had two Subarus and neither have had any issues with battery drainage...

My parents haven't had their Outback Oynx for very long, but no mention of battery drainage on theirs.
